Meet Ian Hamilton, Arcuate Architecture the Ruthven Mansions newly appointed Heritage Architect! We are utilising Adelaide City Council’s HIS (Heritage Incentive Grants) to complete a 2 stage process before any investigation into restoration would commence.

Phase 1 - Drone Facade Inspection - 28th February 2025

Phase One of the Historical Incentive Scheme grant for the Ruthven Mansions were completed today, 28th February, in perfect weather conditions.

High quality images of the facade were taken via a drone directed by Ian Hamilton, Arcuate Architecture & Adam Merritt from Drone Hire Australia Group.

Ian Hamilton, our Ruthven Mansions appointed heritage architect, will now have evidence to produce the architectural fabric reports required by Adelaide City Council to finish Phase 1 and to be eligible for Phase 2 and then Stage 3 restoration works to the facade.
